Chapter 10 - Untold feelings

Sunlight shone softly up the whole livingroom. And Jaejin who slept, woke up.

"Where's Yuri?" Jaejin murmured, when he realised that she wasn't beside him. Just when he was about to get up and look for her, he saw her lie on the floor right next to the couch.
"How did she get down there while sleeping?!" he thought and chuckled.

"HEY..I can hear you laughing..what's so funny?!" Yuri mumbled quietly while she slowly turned around and opened her eyes.

"Just look at you! How did you get down there while sleeping?" Jaejin asked while pointing at the floor.

"..hmm I don't know.." Yuri replied while she scratched her head with a confused expression on her face.

"Maybe you are a..sleepwalker?!" Jaejin said and started to laugh.

"No I'm not! I just fell off the couch while I slept or something. Besides, it would only be creepy if I was a sleepwalker.."

"Hm..you're right..who knows what you could have done." Jaejin said while he nodded in agreement.

"Hahahaha, you're so cute when you're doing that!" Yuri said and pinched his cheeks.

"Yah! That hurts! And doing what?" Jaejin said.

"Hahaha, never mind."

"I want to know!" Jaejin whined.

"Let's make some breakfast and after that I have to go home and change. Then we're going to the school. Okay?" Yuri said.

"Yeah, okay." "And what's up with that sneaky expression you have?" Jaejin asked curiously.

"Huh? Nothing. Let's go." Yuri replied.

-Yuri's PoV-

Mohaha, success! Sucker..he didn't even realise that I didn't answer to his question.

[ON THE OTHER SIDE..]

Hyoeun carefully changed her clothes, and put on her school uniform. Just when she was about to put on her skirt, she remembered the big wound on her right knee.
"Oh, right.." she murmured and pulled out a pair of jeans from the closet instead. After changing she went out to the living room, and to her suprise Jonghyun wasn't there.

"Jonghyun?" Hyoeun shouted as she walked around the house, looking for Jonghyun.

"Oppa?" Hyoeun shouted once again. No one answered.

-Hyoeun's PoV-

Strange, how can he just disappear so fast? And even without saying anything..
Aish, I need to take some rest. My knee is killing me!

-End of Hyoeun's PoV-

Just when Hyoeun was about to sit down on the kitchen chair, a pair of arms embraced her from behind.

"Good morning sis!" Jonghyun greeted in a playful tone.

Hyoeun broke the hug and turned around.

"Oppa, where have you been?" Hyoeun asked.

"I hid behind the kitchen door. I thought that you would find me, until I saw you give up when you were about to sit down." Jonghyun replied and smirked.

"Gosh, you're so childish.." Hyoeun said and sighed.

"YAH! You're only saying that because you couldn't find me!" Jonghyun teased.

"No I'm not!" Hyoeun said and pouted.

"Yes you are! You're the one that always want to play hide and seek!"

"Whatever!" Hyoeun said and stuck out her tongue.

"Woho, I won!" Jonghyun shouted in joy.

"Yeah yeah, I'm going to win next time!" Hyoeun said on her way out.

"Where are you going?" Jonghyun asked and followed Hyoeun.

"School, what else?" Hyoeun replied.

"School? You know it's not obligatory to go to school on saturdays."

"Of course I know, but we always go to school on saturdays. Right?"

"Yeah..but you're hurt, aren't you?" Jonghyun asked worried.

"It's just a few scratch here and there..nothing to be worried about."

"Are you sure?.."

"Yeah, let's go!" Hyoeun said as she grabbed Jonghyun's arm and went out.

[AT THE SCHOOL GATE]

"HEY HYOEUN AND JONGHYUN!" Yuri shouted and ran towards them. She immediately hugged Hyoeun and looked at her.

"Thank god that you're okay!" Yuri said.

"Yeah, glad to know that you're okay too! I've been so worried!" Hyoeun replied.

"Hey guys!" Jaejin greeted happily.

"Hello my dear friend!" Jonghyun said and pulled Jaejin into a hug.

"Yah hyung! What are you doing? Let go of me" Jaejin shouted and broked the hug.

"I just wanted to hug someone, when I saw those two hug each other" Jonghyun said while he pointed at Hyoeun & Yuri.

"So you mean that you want to jump down from a mountain if you see someone do it?" Jaejin said.

"YAH! Sometimes you just talk waaay too much!" Jonghyun said and gave Jaejin a threatening glare.

"Ooouh I'm so afraid right now!" Jaejin said and rolled his eyes.

"YAH LEE JAEJIN!" Jonghyun shouted and pointed at Jaejin.

In respond, Jaejin stuck his tongue out.

"Okay, it's enough guys!" Hyoeun said and broke Jonghyun's & Jaejin's conversation.

"Let's go to the school library, instead of just stand here." Yuri suggested.

Everybody nodded in agreement, and they went together to the school library.
On the way there, Yuri and Jaejin's hands were intertwined while Hyoeun and Jonghyun walked behind them and laughed.

"Looks like they like each other." Hyoeun whispered to Jonghyun and giggled.

"Yeah" Jonghyun replied.

Complicated Love Story - Chapter 9

Chapter 9 - A night at home

-Hyoeun's PoV-

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling that s something was around my waist. I opened my eyes and saw Jonghyun's face a few inches from mine.
I looked down and saw that it was his arms that were around my waist, hugging me tightly. My heart was beating twice as fast and I could feel the heat from my cheeks burning.

"Jonghyun..." I said and nudged him with my hand.

"....." Jonghyun turned around and loosen his arms around me.

I carefully lifted his arm from my waist and successfully got out from the bed without waking Jonghyun up. I pulled the blanket over Jonghyun, brushed bangs from the face and looked at his pretty sleeping face for a while before I went to the bathroom.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a pale face with a few scratch, red cheeks, shoulders long black hair, darkbrown eyes so dark that it almost looked like black ones, pale cherry pink lips...That was my face. Almost my whole body was wrapped in bandage, I looked like a freaking mummy.
I touched my red swollen cheeks carefully, it didn't hurt so much...I started to remove the unnecessary bandage and I realized how much bandage I had on me! I only had a few scratches here and there, but it was not as bad as I had imagined. The only big wound I had was the one on my right knee that I got when those girls pushed me.
After I was done I threw all the bandage and went to the livingroom.

-End of Hyoeun's PoV-

Hyoeun went to the livingroom and turned the tv on, she zapped between different channels until she found a movie that seemed interesting.

Jonghyun heard sound coming from the living room, he rubbed his eyes and turned around to face Hyoeun.

"Hyoeun?" He said and looking around in the room when he saw that she wasn't sleeping next to him.

Jonghyun walked to the living room and saw Hyoeun sitting on the couch and watching tv.

"What are you doing?" He asked and sat next to her.

"What does it look like? I'm watching tv....pabo" Hyoeun said and chuckled.

"Yah! Who are you calling babo, your babo?!" Jonghyun said pinched her cheeks

"Ow!" She said slapping Jonghyun's hands off and rubbed her aching cheeks.

"Omo! I'm sorry! I forgot..." Jonghyun said and looked on the floor

"I will forgive you if you give me ice cream"

"Ice cream? But it's so so late now..."

"I know, so you have to buy it to me tomorrow" Hyoeun said and smiled

"No problem!" Jonghyun smiled and placed his arm around Hyoeun's shoulders

"Yah, pabo! What do you think you are doing?" She said and looked at him with a what-are-you-doing glare

"I'm sitting on the couch with my sister and watching a movie in the middle of the night" Jonghyun said and smiled

"...." Hyoeun sighed and rolled with her eyes

"What is this movie about? Jonghyun asked since he didn't see the beginning.

"It's a movie about a couple felling in love with the person they shouldn't."

"Why? They are enemies?" Jonghyun asked and furrowed his eyebrows

"Nope, they are siblings" Hyoeun explained

"Incest...?"

"No... they don't have any biological connections, just like you and me" Hyoeun said and looked at Jonghyun who was sitting really close to her

Jonghyun and Hyoeun watched the whole movie without saying anything to eachother. Jonghyun still had his arm around her shoulders and Hyoeun rested her head at his shoulder.

The couple in the movie was in the same relation just like Jonghyun and Hyoeun, they were in love with each other without knowing it. They spent a lot of time with eachother because their parents were busy with their work, they studied in the same school, told eachother their biggest secret and they did everything together.
They finally understood that they loved eachother when their parents separated, but it was to late.

"Do you think that really can happen in real life?" Hyoeun asked when the movie ended

"Of course" Jonghyun said and looked at Hyoeun face that was a few inches from his.

"Because I'm just like that guy in the movie, in love with his beloved sister" Jonghyun wanted to say, but he didn't

Hyoeun nodded and lay her head back on Jonghyun's shoulder and whispered "I hope we were just like them, but with a happy ending"

"What did you say?" Jonghyun said after he heard that Hyoeun mumbled something

"N-nothing" Hyoeun stuttered

"Let's go back to sleep, we still have school tomorrow" Jonghyun suggested and Hyoeun nodded as replied

Hyoeun and Jonghyun fell asleep on the couch and sleep until the sun rises and it's light shone on them, making Hyoeun wake up.

-Hyoeun's PoV-

Jonghyun's face was so close to mine, I could feel his breath, I could hear his heart beating.
I must be crazy for doing this...

I gave him a kiss on the cheek

-End of Hyoeun's PoV-

Hyoeun tip toed back to her room and left Jonghyun sleeping on the couch in the living room.

-Jonghyun's PoV-

Did she kissed me?
I could feel something soft pressing against my cheek, I was pretending to sleep, so I couldn't see...was it her lips?

Chapter 8

When Feelings Start To Grow

"I can't believe I'm doing this..." Jaejin thought as he slowly took off Yuri's suit-like jacket. "I'm sorry, but it's for your best.." Jaejin mumbled for himself as he looked at Yuri and touched her blouse.

Right then, Yuri slowly opened her eyes. Her sight was blurry at the beginning. But after a moment she could see clearly, and saw that Jaejin touched her blouse with a hesitantly expression on his face.
Yuri smirked. "Let's see how he will react", she thought as she quickly sat up.

"AAAAHHH! What are you doing?!" Yuri screamed while she quickly embraced herself with her arms and sat in a protective position.

"I jjj-jusst, ii-it's nnott liike whh-what yyyouu t-think" Jaejin stuttered while he shook his hands.

"Then, what are you trying to do?!" Yuri said while she tried hard to keep her afraid/serious look on her face.

"I, I jj-juusstt" Jaejin stuttered, unable to reply.

Suddenly Yuri burst into laughter, she couldn't hold her laughter any longer. Jaejin was so confused by her reaction that he only remained silent.

"AHAHAH, I was only joking with you! You should've seen your facial expression!" Yuri laughed while she pointed at Jaejin's face.

"Yah! It was not even funny!" Jaejin replied and pouted.

"You're so cute when you're pouting" Yuri said smilingly as she pinched Jaejin's cheeks.

"Just wait! Some day, I'll get my revenge!" Jaejin said jokingly as he grabbed Yuri's hands and started to tickle her.

"Please stop!" Yuri begged while she laughed madly.

"I don't see why I should do that." Jaejin replied while he poked at Yuri's stomach.

"Ouch!" Yuri whined and stopped laughing.

"I'm so sorry!" Jaejin said and looked at the spot which he had poked at. He was suprised by what he saw, there was a large blood stain.

"Let me take a look at this" Jaejin said.

"No, wai-"

Before Yuri even could reply, Jaejin quickly lifted up her blouse and looked at the wound that was on Yuri's stomach.

"Does it hurt?" Jaejin asked while pointing at the wound. Yuri looked at him and nodded.

"Aish! Why didn't you say anything?" Jaejin asked with a serious look on his face.

"..You would just be worried an-"

"Babo" Jaejin mumbled quietly while he lifted up Yuri and carried her in bridal style. Yuri was so surprised by his action, that she only put her hands around his neck and remained silent.

Jaejin went into the bathroom and carefully put down Yuri on the toilet cover.

"Firstly, we need to clean your wound and then put bandages on it. Secondly, you need to change you clothes, because as you can see it's all soaked. But don't worry, I'll find some clothes for you.."

In response, Yuri nodded.

"Good" Jaejin said while he got up and grabbed the things he needed to clean the wound.

-Yuri's PoV-

This is the first time I see Jaejin being so serious. Seeing him so concentrated at cleaning my wound makes me feel happy, but also worried at the same time.
The lie I came up with earlier failed..I didn't want him to discover the wound. And no matter what, I just don't want him to be worried.

-End of Yuri's PoV-

"Done. Wait here, I'll get some clothes for you." Jaejin said as he walked to his room to find some clothes.
He found a white hoodie and a pair of black pants that was to short for him, but probably would fit Yuri.

"Here" Jaejin said and handed over the clothes.

"Thank you" Yuri replied and locked the bathroom door and changed her clothes.

Luckily, the clothes fits her perfectly. When she came out of the bathroom, she went directly down to the living room.
Down there, she found Jaejin who sat on the couch wrapped in a blanket, while he watched the TV.

"Hey" Yuri said while she sat down on the couch.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Thanks for taking care of me."

"No problem, that's what friends are for." Jaejin replied smilingly.

"Haha. It's a bit chilly here, isn't it?"

"Yup, it's always like this during the evening. Come over here." Jaejin said and patted at the couch.

Yuri moved closer and sat right beside Jaejin. Jaejin wrapped his right arm around Yuri's shoulder along with the blanket. Yuri turned her head and looked at Jaejin that stared at the TV.
She smiled and leaned her head against Jaejin's shoulder. And without knowing, she fell asleep.

-Jaejin's PoV-

I think I'm starting to like her.

Chapter 7 - Saved

HyoEun’s PoV
I don’t know for how long time me and Yuri has been here, it felt like an eternity.
The rain poured down on us, I looked at the gray clouds that were hiding the sun.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I lifted up my arms to feel the raindrops falling and I started to laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" Yuri asked me confused.

"I don't know, I just want to. You forget your pain easier on this way" I answered.

“Really?”

“Yes, Jonghyun thought me that” I said and smiled.

Both of us were on the roof and letting the rain pour down on our faces.
We sat on the cold stone floor, raising our faces towards the sky and smiling.

I know I sound like an idiot, but the rain made me feel happy.

My eyelids started feeling heavy, I looked at Yuri and saw that she was just like me, just on the verge to faint. I smiled and said "They will find us" before I closed my eyes.

JaeJin and Jonghyun ran up for the stairs to the roof so fast they could, both of them were so worried about Hyoeun and Yuri.

They reached the door and opened it.
The door was locked.

"Noooo!! Are you kidding with me!?" Jaejin shouted out.

"Let me try one thing, these doors shouldn't be so strong..." Jonghyun said and kicked the door with his left foot, leaving a shoe mark of dirt.

"Whoa, I didn't know that you were that strong..." Jaejin said surprised.

"It's not me that is strong, it's the door that is weak." Jonghyun replied and laughed.

They rushed through the door and saw Yuri and Hyoeun sitting in a corner. Both of them had wounds all over their body, Hyoeun's condition were worse that Yuri's, Hyoeun's cheeks were red from the slaps they received from before.

"Omo!" Jaejin shouted and ran towards them and Jonghyun followed.

"Hey!! Are you okay?!" Jonghyun shouted and shook Hyoeun's shoulders.

Jonghyun touched Hyoeun's burning forehead.

"I think Hyoeun have a fever. I have to take her home." Jonghyun said and lifted Hyoeun up and carried her in bridal style.

-Jaejin’s PoV-

Jonghyun left with Hyoeun and left me with Yuri.
What am I supposed to do?
I can’t leave her here, I can’t take her to her home because I don’t know where she lives…
I guess that I just have to take her to my place. Luckily, I live alone in a small apartment.
I picked Yuri up on my back and carried her down the stairs, called for a cab and headed our way home.

The driver stared at me as I was some kind of pervert that found a unconscious girl and was going to bring her home to me, I ignored him, paid for the ride and got out from the car.

I took the key from my soaking wet jacket pocket and opened the door.
I can’t believe I’m doing this, I’m bringing a girl to my house.
I carried Yuri to the living room and carefully put her down on the couch.

I quickly changed my wet clothing to something more comfortable, grabbed a towel and started to dry Yuri's hair. I touched her ice cold hand with mine, must find a way to warm her up, or else she would get sick. I took a look at her soaking wet clothes, which was a big problem. I can't warm her up when she is wet, it would just make everything worse.

I can't believe I'm doing this...

-End of Jaejin’s PoV-

Jonghyun opened the door to his sister’s room, a room that he usually doesn’t go to. Their parents went on a business trip and will be gone for a month.
He putted Hyoeun on the bed and went to the wardrobe and took out the regular clothing Hyoeun used to wear. He brought the clothes to the bed Hyoeun was lying on, he looked at her and hesitated for a moment.

-Jonghyun’s PoV-

Aish, Jonghyun…what are you thinking on?
She is your sister and she is sick right now. You need to do you duty as a brother and take care of her.
I changed her clothing as quick I could and tried to not look at her. When I was done I took out the first aid kit and cleaned the wounds on her body. She had more wounds than I had imagined, they were on her arms, legs, stomach, some of them were so bad that just cleaning weren’t good enough, I had to use bandage.

I’m so going to kill this person that did this to Hyoeun, I will make that person regret doing this to Hyoeun.

After cleansing Hyoeun’s wounds I discovered that I was still wearing my wet school gym uniform. I was busy with Hyoeun that I didn’t have time to get changed. I went to my room and changed to my regular home clothing and went to Hyoeun’s room. She was lying on the bed and mumbled something.

I went closer and heard that she was saying my name.
I felt happy. Why do I feel happy when my sister is saying my name when she is asleep?

I sat down beside her on the bed and looked at her.

“How can a person be so cute when they are sleeping?” I asked myself and caressed her head.

I guess I should let her rest now… I stood up reluctantly and walked towards the door but I got stopped by someone pulling my hand, I turned around and saw Hyoeun holding my hand.

“What is it?” I asked her and went closer to her.

“D-Don’t leave” Hyoeun murmured out.

“Okay” I said and sat down on the bed again.

I watched her fell asleep again before I decided to sleep too. I tried to make her let go of my hand, but it was like she knew what I was thinking on and held my hard in a firm grip.

I guess that I have to sleep here tonight…
I lie down on the bed and looked at Hyoeun, she was smiling. I wonder what she is thinking about… was she thinking about me?

I carefully pulled her into my embrace and hugged her before I fell asleep.

Chapter 6

Heroes?

The rain began to fall down more and more. "What to do" Yuri murmured to herself as she slowly began to stand up. She then looked at Hyoeun, and saw that she was starting to shiver.

"Hey, are you still there?" Yuri asked worried as she grabbed Hyoeun's hands.
In response, Hyoeun opened her eyes and nodded her head. Yuri patted Hyoeun's head and gave her a bright smile.

"Don't worry, just stay here and rest. I'll try to find a way out of this." Yuri said.

"Thank you" Hyoeun replied weakly as she closed her eyes.

Yuri couldn't hold her emotions anymore, tears ran down her cheeks. Rain drops were falling down from the old ceiling.
"I better find a way out of this" Yuri thought as she started to pound on the door. "Can anyone hear me?! We're trapped inside the old building on the roof!" Yuri screamed.

-

[During gymnastic lesson]

"Gosh, Jaejin why does it take so long for girls to change clothes?" Jonghyun asked while pouting.

"Hey, why do you ask me?! I'm not a girl!" Jaejin replied.

"Yeah yeah, whatever.." Jonghyun said while he stood up.

"HEY WATCH OUT FOR THE..."

*BAMM*

"..ball.." Jaejin completed his sentence as he ran towards Jonghyun.

"Ouch!" Jonghyun whined.

"Aish, you should watch you steps!" Jaejin scolded while he helped Jonghyun up.

"I've nose bleeds"

"Lets go to the bathroom and get some paper"

"How's your nose? Is it better now?" Jaejin asked.

"Yes"

"Well, lets go back to the lesson then"

"Hey wait, be quiet!"

"What is it?" Jaejin asked.

"Be quiet and listen." Jonghyun said.

They could clearly hear what two girls were talking about in the girls bathroom. Both of them became silent while they eavesdropped on the girls conversation.

"Did you hear the news about what Rebecca, Katy and their gang did to 2 girls?"

"Yes I did! Annie told me that they were beating 2 girls in the old building on the roof. They even left them there and locked the door."

"Gosh, I really feel sorry for those girls.."

"Yeah me to, but there's nothing we can do about it. If we help them, are we as good as dead. Besides everyone knows that if you're girl, then you shouldn't get near Jaejin or Jonghyun."

"Yeah, you're right. Lets go back to our lesson." The girl said as she and her friend went back to their class.

Jonghyun and Jaejin remained silent for a while, both were shocked by what they just heard. In the end, Jonghyun broke the silence.

"They couldn't...those girls they were talking about..it couldn't be Hyoeun and Yuri right?"

"I'm afraid that it's them." Jaejin replied as he rushed away.

"Yah! Wait for me!" Jonghyun shouted as he ran after Jaejin.

-

"Help, help, help us please" Yuri screamed. But for each time her voice became lower and lower. In the end she had no power left and just fell down on the ground.
It was not until now that the pain from the kick began to grow, and she started to shiver.

"I'm so sorry Hyoeun" Yuri mumbled as she slowly moved towards Hyoeun and grabbed her hand.

"It's okay, there's nothing you can do about this. Lets pray that someone will find us" Hyoeun replied weakly.

Yuri nodded her head lightly, and they both passed out.

"Oh my, when did it start to rain so heavily out there?" Jonghyun said while he ran and looked out through the window.

"I don't know. But this is not good, they'll be drenched." Jaejin said while he increased the speed.

"Only these steps left and we'll be there" Jonghyun said while running as fast as he could.

Chapter 5 - The roof

---In the classroom---

"It's so boring..."Yuri whispered to Hyoeun.

“Yeah, I know… But the good thing is that we are going to bake after this lesson.” Hyoeun replied with a smile.

On Fridays every week all the classes have math, bake/cooking lessons and gymnastics.

Hyoeun watched out of the wind and looked at the sky with big grey clouds.
“Looks like it’s going to rain today…” Hyoeun said quietly to herself.

*RIIING*

“Yay!! Finally baking time” Yuri and Hyoeun said at the same time.

“Don't understand why all girls think that baking is so fun..."Jonghyun said and sighed.

“Actually…I think it’s kind of fun to…” Jaejin said while packing his stuff.

“Haha, he is at our side!” Yuri said and pulled Jaejin to her and Hyoeun.

The four of them walked out of the classroom with laughter and smiles on their face…but they didn’t notice that there were some persons staring on them with their jealous eyes.

--In the school kitchen—

“Okay students, we are going to bake cakes today! There isn’t any specific cake we want you to bake, just do what you guys want to do. The ingredients are at the table, so take what you need and start to bake!” The teacher said.

“Oh, by the way, you need to work two and two.” The teacher said and looked at us.

The teacher started to read up the pairs that will be working together, Yuri was with Jaejin, and Hyoeun was with Jonghyun.

“Why do I have to be with this babo…” Hyoeun complained.

“You should happy” Jonghyun said and smirked.

“Yeah, sure. Why should I be happy when my partner is a person that can’t cook and always letting me do all the work?” Hyoeun said and stared at her brother.

“Aish…I’ll show you that I can cook. Right now” Jonghyun said.

“Haha, but we are not going to cook right now, we are going to bake” Hyoeun said and started to pick the ingredients she needed.

“Oh, you are so dead!” Jonghyun said and ran after Hyoeun.
Yuri and Jeajin just stood there and watched on their siblings fight.

“Soo…. What do you want to do?” Yuri asked Jaejin.

“Hmm… I don’t really know… Hey, do you like chocolate?” Jaejin said and looked at Yuri.

“We can make a chocolate cake!” Yuri said and gave Jaejin a bright smile.

They picked the ingredients and went to a kitchen started to bake together.

“FLOUR WAR!!!!” Jonghyun shouted and threw a hand full of white flour at Jaejin from the kitchen next to them.

The flour landed on Jaejin’s hair and on the most of his body.

“You are so DEAD!!” Jeajin shouted and took a whole bag of flour and started to throw it at Jonghyun.

They played around like 5years old kids until the teacher came and told them to stop.
They looked at the kitchen and saw white flour all over the place.

“After cleaning up this mess, you guys is getting detention after school” The teacher said and walked away.

“Awww… I want to go home…” Jonghyun complained.

“Shut up, it’s all your fault” Jaejin told Jonghyun and stared at him with his “angry face”.

“Don’t try to tell me you didn’t have fun?” Jonghyun said and smirked at Jaejin.

Jaejin didn’t say anything, he just rolled with his eyes and sighed.

Jonghyun and Jaejin started to clean up the mess they created while Yuri and Hyoeun finished the cake on their own.

“Do you need help?”Jaejin asked Yuri

“It’s okay, I’m almost done” Yuri replied.

“Whoa..!” Jaejin said and looked at the amazing chocolate mousse cake with crumbs of dark chocolate that Yuri made.

“Do you like it?” Yuri said with a shy smile.

“Of course! It looks amazing and I’m sure that it tastes amazing to.” Jaejin said.

“Hey Jaejin! It supposed to be me saying that, not you…” Hyoeun said, pouting with her lips while washing the strawberries to her cake.

“Oh….Don’t get jealous because I stole you friend” Jaejin said and pointed out his tongue.

“Are you done with the cake yet?” Jonghyun asked and wrapped his arms around Hyoeun’s shoulder.

“W-What are you doing?” Hyoeun asked
“Omo! The cake looks great!” Jonghyun said and ignored Hyoeun’s question.

“Let’s eat under the tree!” Yuri suggested.

They packed the cake in a small box and went out to the schoolyard. They teased each other and started a little cake fight and ended up by having cream and chocolate all over their school uniforms.

“See you guys later!” Hyoeun said and dragged Yuri away.

“Where are you going?” Jonghyun asked.

“We are just going to change, see you later at the gymnastic lesson” Yuri said and walked away with Hyoeun.

Yuri and Hyoeun walked back to the school, leaving Jonghyun and Jaejin at the tree alone.
Jaejin closed his eyes and rested his head at the tree as he took a deep breath.

“Jaejin…..Do you like Hyoeun?” Jonghyun asked.

“No” Jaejin replied without opening his eyes.

“Really?”

“Yes, I like Hyoeun, but only as a friend and as a little sister.”

“Good…” Jonghyun mumbled quietly.

“What did you say?”

“Nothing… we should probably go and change too…”

-Yuri’s PoV-

Hyoeun and I went to our lockers to get changed for the gymnastic lesson.

“Hope that there are going to be something fun…right?” I said waiting for Hyoeun to respond.

“Hyoeun?”

I turned around and found myself alone by the lockers. Hyoeun was right behind me for just a moment ago...

*PLING*

I took out my phone and saw that I got a message from Hyoeun.

From: Hyoeun
To: Yuri

I’m on the roof at the old building. Come there now.

“That was odd” I thought.

I started to run up for the stairs, towards the roof. I even forgot my phone and clothes in the locker. But I don’t care. This could be something important. Something could have happened to her.

I opened the old, heavy metal door that no one usually uses now. I looked up at the sky and felt small drops of rain falling on my face.

“Hyoeun?”

-Hyoeun’s PoV-

I was following Yuri to the lockers when I suddenly felt someone tapping on my right shoulder. I turned around and saw a girl holding a white napkin, she covered my mouth and nose with it. Before I could do something, before I said a single word, my eyes felt heavy and everything went black.

*Splash*

I woke up at the same time I felt freezing cold water all over me.
I opened my eyes and everything was so blurry. I looked down at me and saw nothing else but ice on me. That explained why I was freezing.

“Yah!!” I could hear a voice from a girl yelled at me.

I lifted my head and saw no one but the schools famous queenka Rebecca and her little gang.
Rebecca went in front of me, raised her hand and slapped me.
I felt a sharp pain on my left cheek and could feel the taste of blood.

“That’s for being near my Jonghyun” Rebecca said and stared on me.

Everyone in school knew that she liked Jonghyun, but it seems like no one knew that we actually are siblings.

“You know, I actually shouldn’t be touching any persons like you. But hitting you is the only thing I can do that can quench my hatred! Rebecca said and slapped me with all her powers.

Obvious her hands hurt after slapping me so hard, so she told a friend of her to do it instead for her.
I didn’t know how long time or how many times they were hitting me. I couldn’t feel anything after the first four… I only knew that it felt like a few hours have passed.

-Yuri’s PoV-
I saw a group of girls standing in a corner doing something, but I didn’t know what they did. I spotted a girl that looked like Hyoeun sitting in the corner.

“Hyoeun!” I shouted and ran towards to the corner.

Some girls blocked me from her, I tried to push away them, but I still couldn’t come near Hyoeun.

“Why worry about someone else when you are in danger?” A voice behind me said.

I turned quickly around and saw a hand coming towards at me.
The pain slowly came and my cheek felt like it was on fire.

“Yah! What did you do that for?! And who are you!?” I shouted.

“That was for getting near my Jaejin. And my name is Katy” She said and smirked.

I felt two girls behind my holding my arms so I couldn’t move.

“Afraid now, aren’t you? If you knew this, you would wish that you never wanted to start at this school...” She said and kicked me with her high heels and I fell down on my knees.

She hit me a few times before throwing me at the corner Hyoeun was in.

“That should teach you guys not to be around Jonghyun and Jaejin” Rebecca and Katy said and started to laugh.

They went through the door and closed it. I could hear a big “click” sound.
They locked the door.

The rain was falling more and more.
I watched at Hyoeun that rested her back at the wall, half unconscious.
No one knows that we are here…
No phone.

Chapter 4

Run away

*RRRiiiingggg*
"Okay students, class dismissed. See you after the lunch break"

"Hey Yuri, you can go to the tree with the boys. I'll just go to the toilet first." Hyoeun said.

"Oh okay, see you later then" Yuri replied while she looked around in the classroom for Jaejin & Jonghyun.
"Strange..where can they be? Maybe they've gone without us." Yuri thought as she started to walk to their meeting place - the big old tree with those green leaves.

[Outside at the meeting place]

"Looks like no one is here yet." Yuri thought but then she looked up at the tree, and there sat Jaejin that looked really thoughtful.
Yuri climbed up and sat on a branch beside Jaejin.

"Hey!" Yuri greeted.

"When did you get up here?!" Jaejin asked surprised.

"Just right now, when you were in your own little world"

"..why did you climbed up? You know that it's forbidden to climb on trees within the school area"

"Yeah, I heard that from Hyoeun this morning..But you looked so lonely up here so I wanted to join you.
Besides, I'm not the only one who breaks the rule" Yuri replied and stuck out her tongue.

Jaejin glared at her and then looked away. Yuri who looked at him could see how the corners of his mouth slowly began to form a smile.

"Hey you know that it isn't forbidden to smile, right?" Yuri said teasingly.

Jaejin turned his head and looked into Yuri's eyes. Before he even could reply, Yuri started to shook his arm.
She then pointed towards two teachers that was on their way towards them.

"Quickly, jump down!" Jaejin said as he jumped down from the tree.

"Are you sure? It's quite high.." Yuri said hesitatingly.

"Just jump quickly! I'll catch you, I promise!"

"Okay then..you promised to catch me" Yuri said as she closed her eyes and jumped down.

The next moment she could feel Jaejins arms that embraced her. Then she quickly opened her eyes while Jaejin grabbed her hand as they started to run away from the teachers.
"Hey you guys! STOP!" The teachers screamed after them.

Jaejin and Yuri ran and ran. Finally they stopped and looked back, no teachers.
Then they turned their heads towards each other while they panted heavily, and suddenly both of them burst into laughter.

[On the other side..]

Hyoeun who had just come out from the bathroom was on her way to the meeting place when she met Jonghyun.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Hyoeun asked Jonghyun.

"I was in the bathroom, but now I'm on my way to our meeting place. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in our meeting place?

"Babo, you're not the only one that needs to use the bathroom" Hyoeun replied teasingly as she poked Jonghyun's forhead and ran away.

"YAH! Who did you call babo?!" Jonghyun shouted as he ran after Hyoeun.
